Founded by Rod Allen and his nephew Chris Hougland, our company represents more than just a business. A New Beginning from a Personal Tragedy

The journey began in September 2016, when Chris Hougland faced an unimaginable loss. His girlfriend and the mother of his children, Jolie Cintron, tragically passed away from a seizure at 33. With two young kids to care for and a server job that barely met their needs, Chris was at a crossroads. In a time of change and challenge, Rod teamed up with Chris, forging a new path together. They moved together to Davenport, seeking a fresh start while keeping the kids in familiar surroundings. The idea for our moving company sparked when Rod noticed a gap in the market. With his background in furniture handling, they found a suitable used 16′ former U-Haul truck and embarked on their entrepreneurial journey. Shortly after, Rod’s son Malcolm came down from Ohio to assist, adding his efforts to the burgeoning enterprise. They aimed to create a business that would honor Jolie’s memory – and so, JLC Infinite Carriers was born, symbolized by an infinity sign road logo reflecting Jolie’s own beloved infinity symbol tattoo.

As the company began to establish its footprint, initially collaborating with used furniture and antique stores for deliveries and pickups, the focus gradually transitioned exclusively to household moving. The name evolved to INFINITE MOVING, with JLC Infinite Carriers as the parent entity. INFINITE MOVING swiftly rose to prominence in the Central Florida area, renowned for our five-star services and customer-centric approach.
